WIN – DryDreams Sleepwear

So many would assume being only 31 I don’t know what night sweats are. Well unfortunately back in 1999 (the year I got married to make matters worse) I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. For many women a simply procedure to remove the infected tissue was in order. However, I had it severely and in spots that the doctor was unsure if my chances of having children would be compromised if removed. So we went to treatment #2, menopause. Yes ladies I am lucky enough to get to go through it twice in my life. Let me tell you not a big treat in my book. Now I was lucky and my disease was fairly common and only reoccurs about every 10 years.

However in 2000 Anne Best, the mother of four young boys, was diagnosed with breast cancer. During her treatment she suffered terribly from night sweats. Her husband, ex-Canadian Winter Athlete Kirby Best suggested he try one of his sweat-wicking athletic shirts. While not comfortable, and certainly not stylish, she found that it did help keep her dry at night.

After her successful treatment (she is now cancer-free), Anne became an advocate for women battling breast cancer. With her husband acting as her partner, she worked with some of the industry’s top fabric technicians to develop a sleepwear line for women that was silky smooth, comfortable and equally important; functional. And with that, DryDreams Sleepwear was born.

The line achieved quick success, appealing as much to women going through medical treatments as it did for pregnant women and those in the midst of menopause. In addition to the fabric being incredibly comfortable it is embedded with silver ions. This proprietary component actually neutralizes the odor that is typically trapped within other sweat wicking fabrics.

And as an added component to the DryDreams story, 100% of the profits after operating expenses are donated directly to breast cancer research organizations.

No I cannot say I had the diagnosis of cancer but I have successfully been Endometriosis free for 10 years now. These are some GREAT pajamas and benefit a wonderful cause. Check them out today!
