Pregnancy is an exciting time, and the first person you want to tell your good news to is your spouse. After that you get to tell your family and friends. It is a special time for everyone and it’s so much fun and exciting to tell people in a fun and unique way.
If you are looking for fun and creative ways to break the news that you are pregnant, here are a few ideas to spark your creativity.
Have a tea party
Invite your family and friends over for a fun tea party and write your message at the bottom of the mugs. When finished with the beverage, they will see the exciting surprise!

Give them a cute bear
Double the fun with you and your spouse making a darling pregnancy announcement at Build-A-Bear. You can dress the bear in baby clothes. When making the birth certificate write a cute message, such as “Baby Coming…” and write the due date. Make sure your family and friends are around when you give it to your parents so everyone to join in the celebration.
Take a picture
When the whole family and friends are gathered together, suggest taking a group photo. When the picture is about to be taken yell “Everyone say, ‘I’m having a baby!'” and snap the picture. This will be such a funny and adorable picture to preserve the reaction of everyone.
Use an older sibling
If you are already parents get your other child involve in the pregnancy announcement. You can write on a shirt or get a shirt made with a creative saying. You can have them wear it to a family and friend party and see how long it takes for everyone to figure it out.
Make a Christmas ornament
If the holidays are around when you plan on announcing your pregnancy, give your family and friends an ornament saying “Baby coming” and add your due date on it. It is a cute way during the holidays to surprise everyone.
Tell everyone individually
Tell everyone individually about your great news. It is thoughtful and will be a special moment to share with family and friends.
Give them a baby book
Choose your favorite baby book and write a personal note in the cover. You can address the note personally to each individual you give the book to. For instance, you can write “Grandma, Please read this to me (on this due date). Love, Baby (last name).”
