The Candy fest is about to begin or better known as Halloween Trick or Treating. My childhood tradition of going door to door in the cold saying those famous words “Trick or Treat” and hoping for one more piece of chocolate has been passed down to my children. I now walk the streets and wait patiently as they run from door to door gathering their loot for the night. Looking back I recall my loot as being one big pile of candy today my children’s loot looks somewhat different as our society continues to strive for healthy options for our kids, as we face more and more children living with food allergies along with many of our children/tweens in the teeth straightening process – Yes, my kids are still in that phase of life but thanks to Invisalign Teen aligners they can be removed for eating and teeth brushing but that doesn’y mean we let them go crazy over candy – we still have to be healthy teeth conscious.
