Lazy Summer days can create video game zombies or TV couch potatoes very quickly if we are not proactive moms. This Summer I found the perfect solution in helping keep track of my kiddos screen time. You can decide on how many tickets/cards per day your child is issued and then they can determine how and when they want to use them.
Be sure to be proactive in talking to your kids about which devices are considered screen time – TV, iPad, computer, iTouch, handheld devices etc. Then explain to them how many tickets they will be issued each day and possibly give them opportunities to earn additional tickets. You may also want to make a disclaimer that the tickets can not be saved up and used on different days they are good for that day only.
