Over 17 years ago my oldest son then in kindergarten would arrive home each week from school with a new bible verse on a baseball size card which we would add to a metal ring. We called this his ABC bible verses as each week the verse went a long with a letter in the alphabet. After 26 weeks we had a complete set of 26 bible verses each one representing one letter in the alphabet.
One of my 2012 goals has been to teach our two youngest boys the 26 ABC verses. Yes, 17 years later I am still using the same bible verses to teach my younger boys to memorize their ABC verses. Unfortunately I have no idea where the ABC Verses we have in our home can be purchased but I did discover that Jenae from I Can Teach My Child created her own version of ABC Bible verse that can be downloaded, printed and made in to your own set of ABC verses to begin teaching your kids to memorize scripture. These are a fantastic resource. I’ve downloaded these and many other ideas from Jenae’s website. Thanks for sharing.
