MOP TIP : Bake your Potatoes in the slow cooker/crock pot – Just scrub, prick and wrap in foil as usual. Cover with lid and cook on Low 8-10hrs or High 2 ½ -4hrs Do not add water! This is great when you need to free up your oven for other dishes!

I do this too. But I save the foil, there is no reason to wrap the potatoes. I also do it in a dutch oven with lid and 1/2 inch water in the oven.
